Holy Family put a number on transfer transparency.

Nine months after go-live, the enrollment team counted the students themselves.

“To have the registrar tell me that this has been one of the best products, integrations, project launches that she has ever seen or ever worked with was absolutely brilliant.”
Edward P. Wright, Ed.D., Vice President for Enrollment Management, Holy Family University

The challenge

Getting to yes ran through the registrar.

Admissions was the straightforward part. Growing transfer enrollment meant the VP of Academics, the Chief Information Officer and the registrar all had to agree, and the registrar asked the hardest question: how is the data protected, and how do we know it is correct?

Nobody wanted a student told they were getting ninety credits when the real answer was four.

839%first-year return on investment

The solution

Then the registrar vouched for it.

Inbound went live on Holy Family’s own site on January 20, 2026, connected to Slate and Colleague. Not everything went perfectly. What the team remembers is how that was handled: thirty-minute stand-ups when something broke, a shared testing log where answers came back in minutes, and a booking link instead of another email.

Insight followed in August.

277transfer inquiries captured in nine months

The results

Where the 44 came from.

18 inquiries that applied after use, 13 who were already leads in DegreeSight, 7 who had never touched the university before, and 6 admitted students who deposited after use.

How the return was calculated: Holy Family traced each of the 44 to where they entered the funnel, weighted each group by how much the platform plausibly influenced that decision, and measured the result against the university’s own net tuition revenue per transfer student. Holy Family approved the model.
